Laura is a gorgeous mamma in her mid thirties, who needed help with two upcoming weddings. She felt lost as to where to shop, what to go for, and needed something quickly as there was a short window before the Weddings to secure the outfits. This meant needing to get it right first time, with little room for returns and re-ordering.
Laura's requirements were two wedding guest dresses for May weddings, which looked to be relatively warm during the day, but likely to be chilly in the evening. Laura wears a size 8, and likes to wear animal print, so I wanted to try and incorporate this as it's a fundamental piece of her personal style, and I wanted her to feel like herself, even when dressing for an event. I'd previously worked with Laura on her colour analysis, which was very helpful for me, as I could choose colours that suit her best. Her main concern in terms of her body and confidence, was to cover her chest and neck area if possible to avoid any redness showing here.
I created a number of outfits for Laura, and recommended accessories that would work best in terms of shoes, bags and jackets. I tried to incorporate items Laura already had in her wardrobe to keep costs down, and sent over a few different options, along with styling advice for the outfits too. The guides included links, so she was able to click straight through and make her purchases.
Laura sent me photos of the dresses she chose, and she looked INCREDIBLE! I was so happy to hear that she loved the dresses, but I was also really pleased to see just how confident she looked and clearly felt while wearing them. Dressing yourself in something you feel great in goes beyond how you look, it helps you exude confidence and happiness from within. I loved helping Laura with the wedding guest dress outfits, and take away the stress and panic buying that an event like this can create.
